Medicinal Bouquets are hand-crafted bouquets of flowers and medicinal herbs. Along with each bouquet, you will receive recipe cards featuring herbal remedies to make from the bouquet of the week, & illustrated botanical cards to help you get to know the plants better.

Before I was a farmer, I was a preschool teacher. I believe in wonder and a soft place to learn. We all deserve the joy of cultivating relationships with plants. This bouquet share is perfect for you if you want a simple & hands-on way to meet new plants and deepen your relationship with plants you already know. It is especially great for folks who delight in learning experiences that fully engage all their senses. A share also makes a sweet gift for a friend!

What to Expect

  • Dates: Bouquets on alternating Wednesdays, June 8th - October 12th

  • Delivery + Pick-Up Options: Pick up at Unity Farm, 7900 NE 33rd Dr. Portland, OR or Opt for home delivery for an additional fee.

  • U-Pick Day: This is many folks’ favorite day of the CSA! Spend a beautiful summer evening at the farm strolling through beds of flowers & herbs and put together your own special bouquet.

  • Cost: A full season of the bouquet share is a sliding scale of $200-$300. Add on Home Delivery for $50-75. Add on Optional Herbal Supply Kit for $50.

What is Included

  • Plant Variety: Each bouquet typically has 3-5 featured medicinal plants.

  • Illustrated Cards: Botanical ID cards to help you get to know each of the medicinal herbs & flowers in the bouquet

  • Herbal Recipes: A recipe sheet with different options for creating an herbal remedy from the bouquet as well as a suggested supply list.

  • Discount Code: For the duration of the share every member gets 10% off any herbal product in the Marquita Medicinals store (tinctures, tea blends, flower essences, etc).

  • Optional Herbal Preparations Kit: Excited to offer pre-made supply kits again this year with everything you need to make this season’s recipes! Although each bouquet comes with a suggested supply list & where to buy those items, some members enjoy the convenience of buying these kits at the beginning of the share so they have everything ready to go!

The idea for this share began with a single bouquet I gifted to a sick friend to support their healing. Our community keeps that tradition going. Each year there are always a few people who gift bouquet shares to their friends. We hope you will help us continue this sweet tradition in 2023!
